We are really happy to welcome Whitney Heins to the Suite Run Podcast!

Whitney is a lifelong runner, founder of The Mother Runners, (a resource for moms who run), VDOT-O2 certified running coach, 2:56 marathoner, freelance writer, a former award-winning TV news journalist…and most importantly, a mom of two beautiful, crazy kids. She’s also the host of the podcast The Passionate Runner & a regular contributor to Runnerclick.com & Marathon Handbook.com. She currently resides in Knoxville, TN.

In this fun conversation, we chat with Whitney about her running journey, including running a 2:56 marathon despite dealing with an injury and with clear goals for trying to qualifying for the 2020 Olympic Trials. We talk about her path to founding The Mother Runners (which just hit 10k followers on Instagram - congratulations!), balancing work, mom and training life and her goals for the future, which include a fall marathon. In the second half of the conversation Whitney shares with us all about her beautiful hometown of Knoxville, TN! Whitney has it all dialed in for anyone that wants to visit: the BEST places to run, great places to dine out, amazing places of interest, races and more.

You won't want to miss this super fun conversation with Whitney!
